The new feature was spotted by Whatsapp Beta Info in a beta build of the application program. The version 2.20.112 beta for the Android comes with feature but it is still inactive. The latest version, even for beta testers will not be able to access the new feature of it. The website that spotted the new feature claims that users will be notified every time a contact in any of their groups has added a new device and it appears always. The report claims that the encryption key has been changes every time a new device is added into the account.
WhatsApp’s new multiple-device feature has a long way from the stable update and the WA company might make massive changes to the feature before the official launch.
Separately, WhatsApp has recently restricted the video status uploading time limit to just 15 seconds in India to ease of the network congestion during the ongoing of the coronavirus lockdown. The move was comes from after the YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hotstar all reduced bitrate and streaming quality on their respective platforms as well.
